Our start in Weimaraners began with a little research and a lot of luck.
In looking for a hunting puppy/pet, we got in touch with our local
Weimaraner club and were referred to Outdoors Kennels,
producers of over 30 Field Champions and breeders/owners of the all time
top producing field dam. We took Riley home in 2000, never
dreaming that he would end up being one of the very few Dual Champion
Weimaraners. Riley took us on quite a ride, and we are forever
indebted to Gorden and Shirley for such a special dog, as well as for
their mentorship and friendship. We are members of the Weimaraner
Club of America (WCA), the North American Versatile Hunting Dog
Association (NAVHDA) International, the Southern California NAVHDA Chapter, the
Southland Weimaraner Club and the Orange Coast Weimaraner Club. In
addition to participating in showing, testing and trialing,we have served on
field trial and hunt test committees, secretary and chair field trials,
and have organized WCA ratings tests and NAVHDA tests.
We believe in and breed for the dual purpose Weimaraner. The ideal
Weimaraner is a companion hunting dog with proper conformation and
aristocratic elegance; versatile in the field and in water; and a healthy, happy and
reliable companion in the home. Anne Taguchi
